Culinary routes.

La Ruta del Xató o Xatonada it's a gastronomic tour that Take place in the counties of Alt Penedès, Baix Panadès and Garraf, situated between Barcelona and Tarragona. Besides being the ​​most production area of wine and cava (champagne)  of Catalonia, these three regions are known for their star dish, The "xató".

Calçotades  Between January and April  in the Tarragona region and especially in the town of Valls,  the "spring onions" break into and with them the "calçotades" a celebration where tradition and cuisine go hand in hand.

With more than 30 years of tradition the "l'aplec del cargol de Lleida" it is  a popular festival that take place during a weekend in May and has become a  very crowded gastronomic event.
