Cadaqués &  Creus Cape .

The Cadaqués history goes back thousands of years and has been influenced by various cultures such as Helenic and Roman. The Maritime contacts and trade with these cultures and with othe cultures it promoted the economic development of the municipality, based primarily on fishing and agriculture. Undoubtedly, the location of Cadaques, facing the sea and isolated from the rest of Alt Empordà by the Pení mountain , helped to create the character and spirit of this seaside village.
Today, the main economic activity of the town is tourism, an activity that directly or indirectly affects all sectors of the town.

Creus Cape

Less than 2 kilometers from the center of Cadaquès we fond Portlligat, where is the house- museum Salvador Dali.

The current House-museum in Port Lligat was the only steady home of Salvador Dali, the place where he lived and worked regularly until 1982,  with Gala's death, he took up residence at Púbol Castle.

About 7 kilometers from the center of Cadaques we found the Creus Cape. Beautiful landscape, endowed with a unique geological configuration, which makes it a unique place in the whole world
